Le Baron - Review
Le Baron is currently one of the most popular clubs among Manhattan's downtown cool kids. This tiny Chinatown nightclub has a big reputation and a tight door to match.
The venue features three floors: a fog filled basement with a dance floor; the main floor, comprise mainly of a bar / dance floor; and an upstairs balcony with plenty of small tables / seating space.
Once inside you can expect to find plenty of downtown creative types, beautiful women with avant-garde style and people speaking in European tongues. Experienced people in nightlife that prefer a downtown crowd know that this is where to spend their night.
In the past- Le Baron has hosted exclusive live music performances through its Encore Sessions parties.
Le Baron has one of the best downtown crowds of any club in the city. Expect to see thin fashionistas draped in black and plenty of successful fashion forward hipsters.
Pop music (80s, 90s, and some hip hop) upstairs, deep house, techno & indie downstairs
How to get in
The door at Le Baron is very tight- with the doorman turning away almost anyone who is not a regular or on the guest list. However, if you have the right image and are in a small group (or even better, flying solo) you do stand a chance of getting in. More reading: guide to getting into Le Baron.
